Should Sales Teams Be Required to Participate in Digital Marketing Efforts?
It’s rare in my travels that someone from an organization doesn’t talk about the struggle to involve and engage the sales team in their company’s digital and content marketing efforts.
But I get it.
We’ve been doing it this way for a long, long time.
Change is difficult.
Especially when it involves sales guys and gals that aren’t exactly big fans of trying new things or getting out of their comfort zone.
In the following video, I address this question, and compare the process of engaging your sales team in the digital/content marketing efforts to that of implementing a CRM within a sales department.
Simply put, it needs to be required.
So be sure to watch the video to get my thoughts on this important subject and if you’ve been struggling to tear down the sales and marketing silos in your organization, send this video to someone on your team today…
