Easily Add Multiple Recipients to Internal Notifications in Workflows
What is it? It is the ability to add multiple email addresses to a single “Send Internal Email” step in a Workflow
Why does it matter? While communicating with your prospects, leads, and customers is usually your top priority, it’s equally important to keep your internal sales, marketing, & C-level teams informed as well.
If a prospect visited the pricing page? Let their sales rep know.
If a customer is coming up for renewal? Alert your account management team.
Sometimes, more than one member of your team has a stake in the game, and it’s up to you to ensure that everyone who needs a notification gets a notification.
With this week’s HubSpot update, HubSpot has made it much easier to set up multiple internal notifications within Workflows.
How it works
Find your way into Workflows in the usual way — Contacts > Workflows — and edit one of your workflows. Add a new action, and choose “Send Internal Email.” Previously, you would’ve needed an additional step for each recipient :
Now, you can add as many addresses as you’d like to a single step. Even better, if you’d prefer to make your list of recipients outside of HubSpot, simply separate the addresses with commas, and paste them into the action editor in order to insert all the addresses at once:
Ready to test out the updated actions? The change is now live to all Professional and Enterprise portals.
So, after the podcast just go navigate into your Workflows and create internal notifications like a boss.
HubSpot Wish List
“View in HubSpot” button should link to contact in CRM, not in Marketing
Now that we have a fully-integrated and sort of amazing CRM, the button we receive inline in emails (and also in the gmail view) links to the contact record in the Marketing Side, which doesn’t have the ability to do anything other than change fields.
1) if it’s not possible to link to the CRM view in an email button (and it should be easy) can we at least get a button in the marketing contact view “View in CRM”? The way it’s working right now is cumbersome at best. Thanks for reading.
